Individual Therapy for Adults in Montrose

Find your calm. Embrace your strength.

Understanding your patterns doesn't always change them

You can know exactly why you react the way you do and still react that way. In individual therapy for adults in Montrose, I use IFS, EMDR, and Brainspotting to work below the level of insight, with the parts of you, the memories, and the body responses that talking alone doesn't always reach.

I'm direct, I don't flinch at hard topics, and I'll start where you are.

A Space That Grounds and Welcomes

Nestled in a serene Montrose setting with tree-lined views and a gentle, calming energy, my office is thoughtfully designed to feel both relaxed and intentional. Many clients describe the space as grounding, a feeling I wholeheartedly share. It’s more than just a place to meet; it’s a quiet invitation to exhale, reflect, and reconnect.

Meet Jennifer Mejía, Licensed Professional Counselor

Before I became a therapist, I worked in public health research for the NIH, CDC, and Department of Defense. That work is why my style is direct and solution-focused. I don't flinch at what's real, whether that's addiction, infidelity, or just feeling stuck.

I hold a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Houston Clear Lake, and in my Montrose practice I work with adults on anxiety, trauma, addiction, ADHD, and relationship struggles. You won't be judged. You will be heard.
